Areas of Emphasis

As an attorney at Keller Macaluso, Eric provides advice and trial counsel to a variety of businesses including airlines, trucking and logistics companies, property management companies, construction firms and related contractors. Eric also provides advice to businesses and insurance companies regarding insurance claims and coverage.

Prior to joining Keller Macaluso, Eric was a member of the aviation mass disaster litigation team at Condon & Forsyth in New York. The team provided airline clients advice and counsel on all issues arising out of the crash of a commercial flight including wrongful death and personal injury claims, property damage claims, CERCLA and other environmental claims, and insurance coverage disputes.

From 2000-2002, Eric served as Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Robert D. Rucker, Indiana Supreme Court. He is a 2007 graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy.

Representative Matters

  • Represented logistics company in a breach of contract action.
  • Represented open-wheel race team in numerous litigation matters.
  • Represented homeowners in dispute with contractors.
  • Represented shareholder in shareholder derivative action in a closely-held corporation.
  • Represented a national security corporation in litigation regarding surveillance duties.
  • Represented major airline in litigation arising out of the September 11 terrorist attaches.
  • Represented air carrier in litigation arising out of an airplane crash outside of Buffalo, New York.
  • Represented airlines in disputes arising out of travel delays and baggage claims.
  • Obtained summary judgment for sports equipment manufacturer in a claim by a paralyzed plaintiff.

Outside the Office

Eric and his wife have a daughter.  In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with family and friends.  He also is an avid golfer and runner, and he enjoys following Purdue athletics, the Indianapolis Colts, the Izod IndyCar Series, and the Cincinnati Reds.
